Residential Design
A kitchen was designed for the NKBA Student Competition. The kitchen for the Johnson family in a suburb of Boston, MA was redesigned to best suit the client’s needs. The Johnson family are looking for purpose and practicality. They need a large pantry with a grab and go feature, along with all the bells and whistles in relation to kitchen appliances. A space for their children to do homework and a command center is desired.
Concept
Mountains symbolize positivity. They represent adventure, escape and conquest. Being out in the mountains is a chance to refresh and get away from the worries of a life in the city.
The design included an assortment of storage options, a range area as the focal point, a hidden pantry, and bar for entertaining.
